The main challenges for AppTailors when we joined the project was to improve null safety, performance and app stability.

The Aloompa app was slow to load. This meant that users had to wait for the app to launch before they could use it and this was a big issue for us as we wanted our users’ experience of our platform to be as seamless as possible. Additionally, we were experiencing null-safety issues where some data was being loaded into the database but not all of it. This meant that there were inconsistencies in how data was being handled across different parts of the application which also led to bugs within the product.

Apptailors overcame challenge by improving app security, stability and performance, so Aloompa can offer seamless and safe solution to its clients.

Thanks to implementing repository patterns, isolates, html rendering and migration to BLoC architecture we were able to meet all the client's requirements and goals.

The isolate API is a way to run code in a thread-safe way. Isolates are used for asynchronous tasks like database calls and network requests, as they help avoiding race conditions (where two or more pieces of code try to access the same resource at once) by giving each piece its own sandboxed environment.

Isolates also improved Aloompa's performance by avoiding memory allocation overhead and garbage collection during execution, which can slow down app considerably if there's too much going on at once, especially when working with large datasets or big files as Aloompa. It allows users to quickly access relevant information without waiting for content to load in full-screen mode or even page reloads when switching between categories on the same page.

We improved HTML rendering by using repositories instead of traditional object oriented patterns like singletons or factories.

This solution made managing global state much easier while improving performance by reducing memory usage since there aren't any unnecessary objects being created at runtime anymore.

AppTailors team worked on a solution to introduce integration with CrowdConnected and MapsIndoors to enable seamless indoor navigation using Google Maps and improve the accuracy of location data.

CrowdConnected solution recently integrated their services with MapsIndoors, a leading indoor mapping and wayfinding platform. The integration has allowed for seamless integration of real-time location data and indoor maps, improving the overall experience for end-users. Thanks to our integration we are able to send push notification when e.g. people enter festival area.
